Q: How long have you worked in your current job?
A: Since June 1989.
Q: Which fictional character would you most like to be?
A: Pippi Långstrump.
Q: What are you most afraid of?
A: That something bad will happen to my kids.
Q: Name one place that you would like to go back to?
A: Paris, because of its atmosphere and great food. I have already been there three times.
Q: What is the last film you watched?
A: I don't watch much television and it's been months since I have gone to the movies. It seems that movies that I have watched are forgettable.
Q: How do you like to relax after work?
A: I live near woods and an arboretum, so I enjoy jogging there. During the summer I find gardening very relaxing too.
Q: Can you highlight three qualities of your institution?
A: Great staff, innovativeness, competence. One of my duties is to make our digital library work fluently. Because our library is in-house and almost only online, I don't get to meet my customers very often. But when I meet them during training sessions etc, I realise just how great the staff are here. VTT has talented and innovative researchers and this gives me drive to develop our digital library services even more.
